Taking place from 18–21 June 2026, the RQYS Brisbane to Bundaberg Offshore Yacht Race is the newest offshore challenge on the Queensland sailing calendar. Spanning 250 nautical miles, this Category 3+ ocean race tests sailors’ skill, strategy, and seamanship in open waters. Competitors will navigate the scenic Queensland coast from Brisbane to Bundaberg, experiencing the thrill of offshore racing while enjoying the camaraderie and excitement of this brand-new event.

Launched 2024, the Bloomfield 70 design Noire encapsulates the epitome of a performance cruising catamaran, well suited for offshore events such as the inaugural RQYS Bundaberg race.

The full carbon, Australian designed & built vessel sets the new standard in design & build quality, with the crew looking forward to stretching her legs in this offshore event. 

Club Access

RQYS Reception (located on the left as you enter the club) is available to assist with access between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Note for some events we may issue access codes ahead of time keep an eye for any email correspondence which may include this process.

Ample and varied accommodation is available in the local area. Early bookings are recommended.

The Manly Marina Cove Motel is located on the grounds of RQYS – www.manlymarinacove.com

Limited camping facilities may be available in the grounds of RQYS.

Muir Marine QLD (Chandlery) – Muir Marine have been serving the Marine Industry for over 100 years and supply everything in boating equipment. Located at 453 Esplanade a 3 minute drive from the club.

IGA Manly Village – IGA is the closest grocery store to RQYS located just 3 minute drive away, at the corner of Stratton Tce & Cambridge Parade.

Manly Village Medical – Is the closest medical centre to RQYS, located at 25 Cambridge Parade a 2 minute drive away.
